The next step is meeting with Dave (in-person or virtually). During this 1-hour meeting, we will get crystal clear on your retirement goals, needs, and concerns.

Step 3

Review Assessment

With your Retirement Assessment complete, we will have another 1-hour meeting to review our findings and recommendations.

I have been a financial adviser since 2004 and launched The WealthPlan in 2010 as an independent financial advisor. I received my B.S.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Washington University in St. Louis in 2003. I am a Certified Financial Planner® professional. I also hold both the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) as well as the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designations from The American College.

There are a few key differences that separate The WealthPlan from others: 

          1. I have more than 20 years experience working one on one with clients at every stage of their careers in order to customize wealth strategies that successfully meet their needs. Creating bespoke, fully personalized retirement plans for individuals and families is where I do my best work. 

          2. I implement my Four Seasons of Planning framework for every client and insist on regular face-to-face meetings (virtually or in-person) to ensure goals are aligned, portfolios are performing as expected, and to stay on top of any important life or career developments. 

          3. I manage client portfolios in-house rather than outsourcing to third parties. This saves clients money and allows me to implement fully customized investment approaches most effectively.

          4. I have an outside insurance company implement and service all insurance optimization strategies. 

          5. I plan on partnering with my clients for the next 30 years given our ages. This is important in an aging profession where the average advisor is 55 years old.

          6. I implement alternative investments for client portfolios as I believe this is an important diversifier to the stock market.

Today, Charles Schwab is that nation’s largest publicly traded investment services firm, with around $8.09 trillion in client assets. As a trusted custodian, Charles Schwab safely holds your investment accounts and provides reporting to you and the IRS. Your accounts can be viewed at any time at schwab.com or through your Client Portal.

Yes. I work with clients nationwide through Zoom video conferencing software. Each virtual meeting is password protected to ensure your privacy is protected. I use an eCalendar tool so clients can schedule meetings at their convenience. My callback policy is 24-48 hours, usually I reply much sooner than that. Finally, clients are able to communicate with me via text as well.
